Where Ideas
Come to Life.
For 36 hours every spring, UCLA transforms into a vibrant hub for 1,000+ developers and designers in Southern California’s largest hackathon: LA Hacks.
Southern California’s Premier Collegiate Hackathon
Selected university attendees will have the opportunity to create apps, software, hardware, or other products using various technologies and compete for over $60,000 in prizes.
Now in its 15th year, LA Hacks has become a premier tech event recognized by students worldwide. Building on the success of our recent in-person hackathon, we are thrilled to carry this momentum forward and create a space for hackers to set the course for the next generation of innovation.
LA Hacks is where ideas come to life.
For one weekend, students from around the world come together to build, create, and push boundaries across every corner of technology.
Whether you’re shipping your first project or chasing your next big breakthrough, LA Hacks is your chance to collaborate with ambitious builders, explore new technologies, and turn inspiration into something real.
